Glad to see that everyone is still hanging around. I hope everyone had a great holiday season. I got a trail cam for Xmas from my wife, and I got a cool picture of a 2.5 year old buck hitting a scrape on 12/29, which I thought was pretty neat. I will post it as soon as I figure out how to get it on my computer.

I got all kinds of new gear for christmas and I can not wait until next season to try everything out. I really want to shoot the new Wacem Broadheads I got but we keep getting snowed on and it's a little cold right now.

sorry I haven't been on in a while. I was doing alot of hunting and only got a doe. Sorry I couldn't help out with the score. Oh well, better luck next year and looks like I will be with a great team again. I hope everyone had a great Holiday season and have even a better New Year then the last. I sure hope mine goes alot better then the end of this past year. A week and a half before Christmas, my wife broke her ankle and has been laid up since. That left me to all the big responsiblities, including getting ready for the holidays. Luckily we made it through them with only a few bumps.

Hey guys, hows everyone doing?
Who is still hunting for us?

today was the last day of WI archery season, so i went with my buddy hoping to get a hunt on film, and sure enough just before dark a young doe came in and he got her, but unfortanetly on the camera all we could see was the Lumenok fly. anyway it was fun, and im glad i was there with him.

I am headed out for a long weekend to scout out and hunt a new bit of public land. If I can get a doe that would be great, but my primary objective is scouting for next year. Our season isn't over until Feb 4 so I still have a bit of time. However, this is probably my last hoorah for the year. I am about to switch itover to coyote hunting. Never got one before so I am hoping to get one this winter.

I am pretty much finished hunting for the year. I just got back from a trip to kansas for quail/geese/deer. I shot lots of quail, a couple geese, and a doe w/ the rifle. I might get in a late season snow goose hunt but other than shed hunting and scouting i am finished.

BTW, doesnt it seem like its taking forever to get this contest over with. I am come on we need our championship crowns.

Everything is done here except for squirrels, rabbits, and coyotes. I take in a little of each, especially when we have snow under a full moon. Hunting coyotes under the full moon is awesome. The heart really skips a beat when you see this black shadow trotting across the snow toward you. They are smart critters though, I have looked like a fool more times than not.

If everything goes according to plan, I will have a new black lab pup come the end of March, really looking forward to that.

Without going back through every page of posts, did someone on here have some experience doing an antelope hunt? My dad has never hunted outside of MN and I would love to get him after something with a decent success rate for the first time. I have never done it either so am open to any tips about where to go.

MN,
I don't know about antelope but I hope you guys have a great trip. My dad and I have been going on hunting trips together for 12-13 years now and it is just the best there is. I hope you guys start a long tradition with this antelope hunt.
