Congrats on your first buck Brent, nice pics and nice buck.:)

Just getting home from finishing off my stand locations.I have 4 placed now on my one property, and hopefully I will have more by the end of the week on the other 2 properties.
I am also working on another piece of land consisting of a couple hundred acres, and I should have the answer by tonight.Going to a big"survivor" party and the land owner will be there;) My buddy lives at his old farm house and said he seen a BIG buck roaming around the farm on a regular basis.Keep your fingers crossed for me guys:)

We had a half day of school so i moved my treestand along this ditch in our woods. Got back in about three o'clock and a spike showed up. Decided to pass him up. He kept on looking behind him so i figured there were some does coming up through and it ended up being him. It was really thick and i finaly got about a 15 yard shot. Now at this point i only had my bow for about three months and i hit back a little far.[:@] Got a lung and the liver. Ended up looking for him for about 4 hours the next morning and finaly found him. I must have walked past him 5 or 6 times. Actually i turned around to backtrack and he was laying ten yards in frontme. Now i've got all new stuff on my bow. I'm ready and loaded for bear.

Nice work Bret, glad to have you on the team!!!

Just got in from putting some stands up, I have two river stands to go. I am going to do those on Sunday.

I took the chain saw back and cleaned up my two new spots. I have fond if I act like my Dad cutting wood it does not scare the mature bucks away. When I go in a stealthy and trim they seem to know something is up.

HA HA Rob, Nice try on tweaking the bows. I have been watching every thing you do to my bow and so far I am still hitting the target with my Matthews.

It was fun to have the three bows in your backyard. Hope to do it again sometime when I can stay longer and smoke both the Trykon and your Allegience.... Till then, keep talkin smack......
