I'm notsure of all of the duties of being a captain, but if no one else wants it, I'll do it. Please keep in mind, though, that I won't have access to a computer all next week because I am going to Maine for a bear hunt.

As far as a name, it doesn't matter to me. Just nothing cheesy. Maybe "tall tines" or something like that. It doesn't matter to me.

To be fair, I think we should wait until everyone checks in before deciding on a captain.

Anybody else gettin pumped? lol. Just got/assembled/put-out a tower stand yesterday at a honey hole. We flushed three going back there in the truck. Got 38 pics in one week, but few bucks. I'm semi-disabled and usually settle for the easy does outta a ground blind, but am savingone of my four tags for the contest buck. The terrain is brutal here and I can't get to the big boys, but am hoping for the rut to bring at least a shooter by me.

We have about 3 and a half weeks before opening day.
I don't have any camera's, but each time I go scouting I find different sign.
Hopefully they won't change patterns until late September.

Ok, a PM has been sent to the 3 remaining team members. As far as a name, 6 to a side or 6 x 6 works for me. As far as captain, whoever you all decide on works for me. If you all make the decision next week while I'm gone, that's fine with me. This is the third year I've been in this contest and I can't ever remember having to ask my previous captains to do anything for me, so I don't think it matters who is the captain.

Guys,

I'm a goof, sorry for the picture and no comments. That was the deer I was after last year. Sorry to say I didn't get him, but a good friend of mine shot him last October. I'm hoping to see his brother this year.

I'll be setting up my game cameras this weekend, I'll keep everyone informed with my findings. Anyways good luck to everyone.

Hi Ya'll, Any name, any captain is fine w/ me. All I have from game cams are does and a little 4 pt still in velvet, but thought you might like to see my friend Tom's mounts, all three are over 170, and the two outside ones were xbow kills. The center one made headlines here as it has a third antler coming up. They called it the Unicorn buck.

Hey guy's, just got back from Wisconsin this afternoon. Did some scouting there over the weekend, last night while watching over a grass field I had 8 deer there at once. 2 fawns, 2 doe's , a spike, a small 6 point, and2 nice 8 points that I estimate they would score somewhere around 125-130. I had my camera out that night and it took a few pics, hoping that one of those 2 are on there, will post pic if they are.

Looks like we have all 10 members checked in.
We need to come up with a team captain and choose an avatar for the team.
BP has asked M.Hansler to come up withanavatar for the team.
I asked him to modify the first one just a little bit so we could have a choice.
We can put these to a vote or if anyone else has one they would like to share, we can add it as well.
If anyone would like to be the captain, post your self nomination so we include everyone on the ballot. :eek:
