Great buck Dayna!!! What did he weigh... Congrats.

Everyone else must be out hunting hard... No posts going up. Mass shotgun opened Monday. My brother in law got a doe. I jumped 2 coming out last night.. Never saw what they were.. Saw one flag... heard the other blowing in the pines.

Maybe this weekend I'll connect. I am going to go w/ bow some more too.

Sorry I haven't been posting much. Have not seen much activity. Most I saw was inbetween Youth Gun Season an Gun Season, when i went out i averaged seeing 6 deer. Missed a nice little eight but that is it but as far a gun hunting missed the same buck I shot at with my bow during gun. But my final youth hunt is pretty much summed up in my friends post:http://www.huntingnet.com/forum/tm.aspx?m=1653297&mpage=21. I was not fun at all, with that expirence that made me enjoy bow hunting even more.

We have till the end of the year w/ the muzzleloader here. I will be out the next 3 Sat. w/ the smokepole. I took a big doe in NY Sunday on the last day of the Northern Zone season w/ the muzzleloader. She weiged around 130.
I doubt I will getout w/ the bow anymore this year. The next shooting I will probably do will be the indoor archery league at our sportsman's club which starts mid Feb.
I will keep you all posted on how we make out w/ the muzzleloaders though. I will also try to get a pic of the baldy I took.
I may try and sneak out this afternoon for a couple of hours. We'll see.
