That first one is awesome, hopefully you can intercept him just before the rut when the scent of hot does is just irresistable, even the old veterans let their guard down then!

I just got home from church and wanted to tell y'all that I scored on another piece of property to hunt on!!! It's great land, I'll try it out FOR FREE!!! An older couple at church just came up and asked if I ever wanted to hunt there and I said absolutely! It's about 15 min from the house! Just wanted to tell somebody! Have a great day at work tomorrow! The opening day is almost here!!!!

That's great news Trae, makes it easy to get those short one hour hunts at dusk done! I lost a property like that this year, it's being developed into homes!
BTW, Mo_Bowhunter is looking in to getting an avatar made up for us so we can proudly display it with ou screen names. 3 wks for me and then it's time to let the rax pile up!

Well boys, the food plots are looking fantastic, and the deer aren't eating much yet, but the soy beans on the farm are almost a month behind and just starting to pod. The deer are hitting the beans hard right now, but they're checking out the plots pretty regularly.
We did FINALLY manage to get one of the big boys on film though not very close to the cam....I'll post the link to the original first....you can just see his antlers. I then tried to crop and zoom, but it started to pixelate, but you can see him a little better...his body is HUGE, and the rack is damn fine too.

Hard to tell from the photo, but I'm sure you'll get a fine buck this season! Let us know if you get a better pic of this deer!
I planted my foodplot @3wks ago,it's 8'x30' long,my stand is well hidden in a tall oak, shooting lane is from 13-23yds overlooking this plot. I'll see it next weekend. Unfortunately it's impossible to stay out of this area some vacation homes but I think the deer should recover. Not much else happens after Labor Day. I'll get some pics of this set-up.

To upload it, right click on the avatar and click save as. Then go into your profile and click upload my picture then find where you saved it and it will upload it for you. That probably wasn't a very good explanation so if you still don't understand go to this thread.
