RE: 28- Team "Backstraps by Broadheads" Official Thread
Just a reminder to everyone to try to shoot from an elevated position for practice. I shot out of the top of our barn this weekend and it was good practice. (bout 20')
I had to aim fairly low at close ranges, and slightly low at further distances. But was shooting good out to 50 yrds. Season starts on friday!! Cant wait! |

Well guys/gals things are looking good for opening week. Was hunting 140 class Wt seem to be moving his beading area steadily up and down the slough and tall reeds. Winded me last night run 'bout 100yrds and stopped abruptly....then flagged and run directly back at me. After he "flew" by me at mach10 a fantastic 5X5 160-170class wt stood up and stretched right where the "lil" buck spun 'round! To think I've been hunting that spot for years and never even knew he was there! Will be holding out for him now! Sorry guys, I am a team player but I won't be drawing my bow unless it's on him this year regardless of where we are for points.
