Well day one is in the books. I can't believe what i saw today. between dawn and 8 am I had over 20 does with in 50 yards. Unfortunately I can only shoot one doe. I nailed what we guess is a 4-5 year old doe that dressed at 130lb. Step father in law also took his first illinois deer with a mature doe. And a good friend who hunts on our land took a 140" in 8 point. I ll have pics of the does tomorrow. But the book is already quartered and on his way back to louisana.

Its all right i think i might go out this weekend before gun season starts with my bow i dont think ill se anthingtho. Next week is gun season!!!

I'm headed out fora 5 day hunt, hopefully I'll something other than a picture of my tag sandwich to share when I get back! Wish me luck and good luck to all of you on team 10, hunt safe and bag a monster.
