now the long wait before season opens, well atleast still got more time to keep scouting, seen some very impresive areas but havnt been luky enough to see from what exactly yet. still looking watching.

Yes sir, it's certainly a long wait! I'm excited about the Bow season that opens on Oct 1 but the gun season doesn't open until the weekend before Thanksgiving.

When does everyone get going? I have an early 4 day hunt Oct 27-30. It is earn a buck but I already did that when I shot a doe this past weekend with my bow so I am ready to go.

rifle dosnt start here until nov:(. Bow is on know but unfortunatly i hurt arm and cant pull bow. What a bummer!

Nothing in our first gun season here. The regular gun here will start Nov. 19th and go until Jan. sometime. I do mostly hunt with bow but I do get the gun out as well. Just depends on the day and where I am going on the property. Good luck to everyone. It is just about here.

Sorry but I will have to take myself off of the team. I just killed one with my bow and I am only allowed to kill one. I hope that you guys and gals have a great season. I hope you get a good alternate. I don't know who I should tell so that they can find you an alternate so if you know let me know or let them know. Sorry once again but I don't think it is fair to the team.

NEB.Buckhunter checking in. Hopefully I will be able to help everyone out with a great Midwestern buck. I have been seeing a lot of decent bucks and a nice one yesterday morning. Too bad that season doesn't start until Saturday. My daughter, who is 3, was telling me "Get him Daddy!!!" What a great supporter huh? She's all excited for her daddy to get a big one.

Good luck to you!! I have been seeing and hearing about some big bucks where I am hunting, but knowig my luck, all that I will see will be dinks. Let's hope not. I would love to get this huge 6x6 that my neice saw out there.

I got a smaller 4x4 this weekend. I haven't had the chance to get the pictures developed or score him yet. Just a little basket rack unfortunately. I saw a huge one, but it was where I didn't have permission and he didn't come my way.

Just so you all are updated, I have not gotten one yet. I do hope to get out some but there is a lot of pressure so that makes it hard. I have several big bucks on the camera but nothing moving in the day light. I will be going out with both gun and bow at times yet this year. Our season ends Jan. 3rd. Good luck all.

Hey yall, I Got a nice one!!!! He is an 8 point, 17.5 inches wide, and he weighed 215 #"s!! I have got to download the pics off the camera, so I havent posted him yet, but I will try to tonite. We will be on the board soon!!

Congrats HHG....Sounds like a great deer. I got a 3pointer during rifle
season here. It ended last sunday. I will post it later. Muzzleloader season
starts in a week I am hoping to get some time off from work for that.

Total bow kill here is about 1300 and so far total buck kill is about 1500.
