Dampland here .... at 34, it looks like I'm one of the "old-timers" here!

Just got back from the woods, here aresome of the most recent Buck pics from the trail cameras.

I'm looking forward to the 2005 gun season, it starts the Saturday BEFORE Thanksgiving, and ends the Sunday AFTER Thanksgiving. I hunt in a rifle area, and have gotten 2 decent bucks in the last 4 years, while passing many small ones.

I already have 3 bucks on my "Watch list". We don't get the Monsters around here that some of you have, but I still think they are ok.

Hey all!!! Sorry for the late check in just got back from elk hunting...freezer #1 isnot as lonely:&lt! I am 35 years old, live in Sask. Canada and been obsessed with hunting as long as I can remember. My deer hunting will start in October with ML season (Draw Moose / Rifle) and then the month of Nov. Rifle Deer season. I hunt mostly farmland and the forest fringe areas for whitetails in saskatchewan. I havemy eye onacouple of bucks in areas near my home and hoping that one will commit a fateful mistake in the coming months. I have 2 either sex tags this fall 1 for the forest zones and the other for the zones in which I spent the bulk of my time hunting whitetails.

Never been good at names butmy favorite thing to see isA "Wall of Tines"! Then again I love junk so "Junkheads" or something.

Best of luck to all, lets go get em'

Alright then, with 7mm checking in that makes 9 of 10. Rattlesnake1 where are you?

7mm - congrats on putting some nice meat in the freezer and welcome to the team.

I will email rattlesnake1 again to see if we can get his butt out of bed!

But for now let's go ahead and get a team name and captain. Other teams are already set with these two things and I hate to play catch up.

How about all memebers coming up with 2 team names and we'll vote. What should deadline for name submission be? How about Sept. 28th? And vote in by Oct. 1st?

Then, who's the creative ones on the team? We'll need a team "banner" or logo. Volunteers?

We're going shotgun hunting in S. IL (me & my 10 yr. old - Ben) Oct. 7, 8 & 9th, but it's doe only. Will be a good opportunity to scout a bit though for me & Hoss1's regular season. Wish us luck, it will be Ben's first deer hunt.

1) Team Wallhangers (original Eh?)
2) N.A. (North American) Hunters
3) Horny Hunters (hahaha prolly too explicit, but catchy)
4) DT (Drop Tine) Specialists
5) Whitetails Anonymous (I like this one, my fav so far)

Any more?

Hey Fellas,
Sorry I didn't check in right, I got the pm the other day from uncle matt telling me to check in for Team 7, and I was like.....yeah...I have...long ago. Ya see, I'm on Team 7 in the Bowhunting contest as well...lol Sorry for the misunderstanding guys, and BTW I did the logo for Team 7 in the bowhunting contest, so when a name is picked, give me some ideas.
As far as a bio.....I'm 29 and have been going hunting since I was 6 with my folks and have been hunting since age 12. This year it's pretty nice in WI as we don't have to EAB for the regular gun season and I do hunt in a rifle area. I've managed to take a few nice bucks and am looking for the next wall ornament. I hunt Sauk and Richland counties in WI,and both are great for high scoring deer. I have two here just around my house that are shooters and would easily be worth mounting. The first is a 10 that would roughly go high 140's to mid 150's and the other is a 12 that would push Boone, so here's hoping for the year.
