I have been getting sooooooo much flack on this so lets vote on it O.K.

So Vote on the way the you want the teams to be picked.

How do you want the teams?

By state or random Pick?

I will give it a week and the most votes will be how the teams will be picked.
Sept 11 - 2005 will be the deadline on votes.

The Check In date will be changed from Sept 30 to Oct 31 @ 12 Midnight.
To give time for all to be set up.

Random is the only way to on this... Illinois, misouri and other states have monster bucks, and by state just wouldnt be fair.

Random because i agree my state and a couple others have the upper hand in the contest even though im not even on my states team.

RANDOM. Like every one else has said, too many states would have an upper hand. If you look at states like IL, WI, KS, and so on and so forth teams from other states just could not compete with that.

I like the idea of teaming up by state, but I also think it is not fair to some of those states. This is kind of out there but what if we come up with some kind of handicap system for those states that just don't produce the kind of bucks that others do. By the way my vote is for states

Well form the looks of i i think its random even tho im from Ohio so yeah we got some record bucks from our state.i would vote for Ohio but not that many hunters from Ohio on this site.

There is no doubt that State would be fun, however it would not be fair to many when states like IL start checking-in "average" 140-150 class bucks where some state may hardly produce animals like that every season?? Just doesn't seem states like IL, IA, and KS could loose a state contest?

Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrandom because it would be very unfair because states like Illinois, Kansas, Michigan, Iowa, Ohio, would blow out Florida, Louisiana, etc. Although I live in Illinois and it would give me a huge advantage, I'll go random.

Its pretty clear, random. It would be kind of neat to have like 2 team members for each state in a team like lets say, SC 2 people will be together in one team along with the other teams that way someone will have some partners to swap ideas w/ and ect. because they know about their area. So I'm swaying 50/50, mixed.
