12. All non-Illinois residents bowhunting in Illinois for this friendly competition must wear a dress; pink or hunter orange in color, at the time the buck is taken for consideration of entry. |

NO mulies...........it will skew the contest! I would give the mulie folks a chance to drop out and start their own mulie contest. KISS.......keep it simple stupid!

Last I heard, Mulie measurements would me multiplied by .833 to even things out (as if that is even neccessary). Now you are saying I have to drop out....BULL! I want an offical ruling from the captains on this before I am FORCED out. Last time I checked this was called "Deer Hunting Contest 2004". Mule Deer are Deer. As far as I am concerened, if you want another contest, then start your own and call it "Whitetail deer hunt contest 2004." Official rules speak off Antlered Deer. No where has "Whitetail only" been an issue. If you want to "Keep It Simple Stupid", refer to the first post of this thread, Stupid. First antlered deer of the season. One deer per hunter. PERIOD! And as a side note, I think it would be prudent to alter your team banner from "No Fear" to "Fear Mulies."[:-] |

For those of you who are too stupid to have caught these the first time, I will post them again. Just like our nation's constition, it was pretty good the 1st time around. Doesn't need to be basterdized to death.
And yes, this anti-mulie campain really has me ticked off! ORIGINAL: Rob/PA Bowyer 1. Deer must taken legally and ethically as laws apply in the state your hunting including tags 2. Archery equipment only which include crossbows, no gun entry 3. Antlered deer only including antlered doe, if it's tagged with a buck tag, it's in. 4. Will be using the Pope & Young Gross scoring system, no deductions. 5. No more than 10 persons per team, drawn randomly....alternate's when necessary starting with first come first serve....I'll oversee it. 6. Deadline to join is complete, you may join the alternate list, see rule 5. 7. You must have a pictured posted on the contest page within the Official Score Card thread to enter a deer. The buck must have a tag visable(if tags apply to your state), the bow must be in the picture and the entire deer must be in the picture, no skull pictures, no rack pictures...the buck, the bow, the tag and yourself must be in the picture.....call me skeptical. 8. Total number of inches of all team member's animal will decide the winner....see rule 4. 9. You must enter the first bow kill antlered deer you get.....second buck for you lucky states will not count. 10. No penned shot deer accepted, deer must be a free range wild animal regardless private or public land. 11. All disagreements, controversies and conflicts will be decided on by a majority vote from a panel consisting of Team Capt's and moderators participating within the contest. Those decisions will be final. |

That was just my OPINION, it doesn't mean crap. I have no final say in what happens, just an opinion. If you don't like it, fine, but calling me stupid is a going a bit overboard. |

I don't think that I ever put GroundHunter and Stupid in the same sentence until now. I was simply quoting you. I appoligize if my reference was improper, insensitive, and uncalled for.
