Being that some impressive deer have already been entered into the contest...do you think deerslayer's 170" monster will be topped or do you think it will hold out as the #1 deer? I know it's still early and some's seasons haven't started yet but what is everyones elses thoughts?

i think its got a pretty good chance of going the distance, only time will tell tho

He is a great buck for sure, but I think there is a good chance there will be a bigger one entered. Remember it was over 200 inches last year for the top spot

He also has yet to enter it into the ind. contest. One must submit their entry their self to be included.

While DS' deer is big, I have a feeling we'll see even bigger bucks entered before the contest is over.

Very impressive deer but it ain't over till the fat lady sings. Lots of season left for a lot of guys.

That's what I was thinking. It'll be the top 3 I'm sure, but I'm guessing the top spot to be near 200" still.
