That would be sweet to try a shot at a 160 class deer. I went out this morning, hoping the weather would cooperate with me. It was drizzling when I woke at 4:00am. As I walked out to my spot I thought it was going to be a good day because I seen three deer including 1 decent buck(6 to 8 point) due to a flashlight. At about 5:30 I was standing about 20 to 30 yards from the tree that I was going to go up, when the sky opened up. I thought about waiting it out, but after 15 minutes of heavy downpour a ended the day before sunrise. (its still raining)

LOL, sorry bout the rain Ron! I will be heading out again in the morning. It's been about a week or so, since I've been able to go. Fire season is almost upon us, and people seem to think its already here! Anyway, good luck guys. I hope we get on the score card soon!

Well finally my opening day is near. Im leaving tomorrow moring and opening day is Saturday. Hope to bring back a nice one for our team. Ill post Tuesday when I get back how things went

Well I finally got settled in here in La Plata MO. OI have been hunting and have seen some awesome buck. I haven't harvested any yet but It's only a matter of time. I will be heading to Nebraska This coming Sunday to check out alot of FRiver Bottom and hopefully find a big ole buck there. Hope you are guys are having a GREAT season so far. Pat

Ok...FINALLY!! I WILL be putting our team on the score card tomorrow night hopefully! Got in my stand at 3 today and shot a doe at 5. seen about 4 more does and a 8 point coming to me..so i got ready and once the buck got to me i pulled and let one fly. I know it was a good hit and an easy pass thru shot. Its not a big deer but should score about 70 inches. Once I Found the doe which wasnt too far from my stand I went to look for the buck and it started pouring on me and i only had 1 light and it was going dead. tomorrow afternoon im gonna go look for it some more and hopefully get it up on the net soon. wish me luck!!!

Great job Honda! I have been a couple times. Went tonight and spotted bullwinkle! And I'm not talking bout no damn MOOSE either. This buck was huge! Only problem was, was that he only got about 200 yds from me. But thats okay, I know where he is now. I'll let ya know what happens. Good luck guys!

Well today was to no avail! The rain didnt stop til morning and I couldnt find the deer. My uncle seems to think that he knows where he laid down cuz the deer came running by him once i shot. We lost my uncles 150 inch deer in the same woods so who knows what will happen.

Another bump..wait..and a score!! I shot a nice little 8 point tonight along with another doe. Thats 4 so far this year and not even gotten into the good hunting. I had a big 6 come in 15 minutes after i shot the 8 but cant take 2 bucks before gun season in MO. I will get pictures up tomorrow and a score soon after! Anyone else having any luck?

Congrats honda. We are finally on the board, well once you enter it. I haven't had any luck here. My buddy and fellow team member Brad had an 8 point sneak up behind him at about 15 yards. All he could do is look at him. (He said the buck stared at him for a couple of minutes and then took off.) We are going to go this week.

I have been less than thrilled my last 2 times out. I have left the field scene and moved back into in the woods, and with all the leaves still on the trees its difficult to see anything in the distance. I have seen very few deer and none within range. I'm heading out tomorrow morning with the tube and a decoy in tow.

Got a new hunting spot yesterday. Rubs and scrapes all around it. I set up my buddy stand there so I could take my family. My wife and I are going to hit it Sunday morning. Hope it goes well. Hey Honda, how bout that score??

My buddy scored it at 60 inches..which isnt right, so i have to wait til i can get the tape on it but its at the taxidermist's right now. Hopefully soon

Figured out why the score was low...he didnt measure the MAIN BEAMS. haha, im gonna go to the taxidermist's today to get the measurements, then we will be on the score card by tonight!

Hey, nice buck Honda. Sorry for not checking in or postingfor quite a wile guys. My computer crapped out on my and i haven't gotten a new one yet. Anyway, I have been out at a couple differant locations and taken two does but have yet to even spot a buck. One of the farmers who owns a farm that I hunt on kicked up a nice 10 pointer a couple of days ago though so I know they are out there. I'll keep ya posted. By the way, How do I get the logo in my post's?

I went out tonight to new place that I put a stand up before season..By 4:00 I had a 7 point within 20 yards and thought that it was gonna be a great night. Well, I didnt see anything til nearly dark, and it was 4 does still together. Maybe the deer are not quite in full rut?? Saw a big coyote..and there has been 2 killed there already this year with a bow, so im thinking that the coyotes are killing the Deer hunting in that area. All the deer I saw were VERY spooked the whole time and the does were over 100 yards away and had no idea i was there.

He shoots....He SCORES!! We got another one to add to our score. I got an 8 pointer this morning. Looks alot like Honda's. I figure it will score around the same. Just wanted to give you guys an update. I'll post it as soon as I can.

I did a little gun hunting this weekend..and guess what...I sawa big one! I shot him at about 70 yards with a 308 right in the shoulder..he barely made it 40 yards and layed down. WAited an hour to get gut him and he was nohere to be found. Blood all over, but then ran out. Going back to look tomorrow. IM SICK

Just got home and I jumped that buck up twice..it cant put any weight on the Front leg..and there is alot of blood still. I think he plugged the hole up with dirt..and he was still close to my stand. I hope to get him tonight. Im gonna guess him at a 120 inch 8 point. A wallhanger for sure

Congrats so far. Sorry I haven't been on here for awhile. I will be heading back to Missouri Jan 3rd to finish out my year with an acrchery hunt til the 15th. I will be hunting a monster buck. I have been watching him for quite soem time now and feel that I have him patterned. Talk to you all soon Pat
