We start Oct. 1st here in PA. I can hardly wait.

Down in our lower field there are several apple trees which are dropping apples now. The deer have the ground all beat up underneath the trees and the trails leading in look like herds have passed thru on them. It's tough to set up down there because of the way the air moves but I am going to try and set up a ground blind in between where the two trails come down the hill. I will probably set up the game cam in a new location tomorrow and then I will have the pics back in a couple days. I sure hope there are some nice bucks in those pics.

By the way... the logo looks great! THANKS BUNCHES ILLINOIS!!!

Illinois I think you should get ahold of Rob and get a alternet, We can't wait anylonger,, there are alot of people wanting to get in on this and It would be a shame to wait for someone who obveiuosly (sp) Does not want to participate,, I think we should give someone else a chance who really wants to. Does everyone agree?

The next alternate in line is MNpurple, he's out on a bear hunt at the moment I believe but claims he's in in the alternate thread. I've already added his name to your team in the score card and Team threads....welcome him in when he gets here...and good luck team 29....

Just got in from scouting. Didn't see a darned thing but that might be because of the hunters on the bordering property. Just found out that the property is now designated "Red Tag" for crop damage. I didn't think the red tag season started yet - thought it was next week. Either way I guess with the activity there the deer will possibly change their patterns and stay in my woods...HOPEFULLY I brought my game cam in - I couldn't rewind the film. Either the batteries don't have enough juice or there's something wrong with the cam. It was still stuck on 18 pics.... Hopefully I will get it rewound at least without exposing the film....

Welcome to MNPurple!
Good Luck Texan Okie on your hunt...
