For your entertainment, here's some of the MD bucks that are on lands that I hunt - to whetone's appetite. The pic of the ~14 ptr was takenAug 2004 on e-a-b qdm land- he was seen only one time during the last hunting season, and has not been seen since. I'll be trying to get a doe this week before he walks under my stand, lol. The photo of the buck pair was taken on afriend's farmathis feeder. The last buck (not a "shooter") was in a foodplot cornfield on my farm - you can see the benefit of year-round foodplots - I've beentrying to get a pic of his big brother on a trail cam. They don't get big unless you let them get old...

Looking good there! Hope you tag one or two of them.

My ankle is about 70% now. I even climbed up into one of my stands yesterday to put the bow hanger and pullrope up. Deer trails going here and there. Looks promissing.
There are no deer like those pics above in my area, maybe on my next lease.

So are we going to post out hunting report here? I could get into that, noone ever wants to hear about mosquitos and racoons[&o]- my typical hunt.

Well, firsttrip to the woods done withand not much moving in the 88 deg heat except for mossies and no-see-ums. Yesterday's adventure helped to get some of the "rust" out... lol

Well, I'm on my way. Got a doe tonight on the e-a-b land.A 10 yd shot while she was scavenging some red oak acorns; I was 20 feet above her, placed it behind the shoulder and it exited through her heart. I saw her go down ~70 yds away, nice when that happens that way. I'll only have a chance to hunt once or twice in the next 3+ weeks, travel and family business to take care of... Good luck guys.

Here is a photo of "big brother" that I alluded to in my earlier post; Ifinally got his picture 9:30 last nighton the motion camera (not the best, but it's all I have so far). He is going into the soybean field on my farm. I had the camera set up in that location for 10 days. It's rare to see him out during legal shooting hours (as in twice all summer); maybe during rut, he'll do something silly...
