Ive been in the woods for the last few weeks. I have seen lots of rubs and territorial scrapes. one of my bucks was hit by a truck,, good thing i have 12 others on film. The one that died wasnt legal anyway

I work new construction mostly and today I was to be up on a roof all day.. unfortunatly it rained until about 10:30 this morning, thus no work today.

Would have loved to get the no work call during the season! I bagged my buck last year after receiving the no work call!

Well # 4
Finally get to get out and do some hunting today n Friday, Yahooo.Fill you's in on how it went tonight when I get in about 9:30pm.Have never hunted these 2 properties that I'll be hunting n neither has anyone else. The owner that hunts but by rifle only, has spotted a great 8x7 the last 2 years on the one spot ,so this should be interesting.Moose ,moose n more moose are on bothso this should be fun as the rut will kick in next week for them..Have fun folks n shoot straight.

Well the evening was a blast and the stand is in a promising spot as I had 5 fat does show up at all different times tonight . I should have taken one for sausage, but the season is just starting n I need to find out if I got the stands in the right place for the rut, Placement is good so now I only have 4 other stands to check out before I start to fill the freezer. I'll get to see 2 stands on Friday as my partner will be with me so I can kill two stands with one visit .Good luck n Shoot staight Team #4

Well just got in from seeing 2 more stands that look to be productive. My partner saw 2 moose and grunted in 2 deer but wasn't able to get a clear shot and I saw nothing but heard a few grunts around me and some moose grunts too. Tomorrow I'll try my other stand that I moved ,hopefully I'll get a poke at something. Just got of the phone from a friend and he arrowed a 156 3/8 pope n young .Travelled 40 yards and piled up. Man my friends are starting to put the presure on me to arrow something quick. Lots of time guys good luck and shoot straight.

Well What Can I Say
Another Saturday night and nothing, got into my stand by 6 and had 6 does come out at 7. They were about 60 yards away from me when 2 button bucks came out with in 20 yards of me.They fumbled around and ate for while then they went on the alert at about 7:15,they kept looking back into the bush so I stood and got ready to draw then all of a sudden 3 kids come into view over the railroad tracks that are about 90 yards away. A few snorts and they were all of bounding away for another day. The misfortunes of hunting in the city limits in the Bow Zone.LOL
Chalk it up to another close encounter.[:'(]
Hopefully some you's will post something more on the positive side, j/k. The experience is all in a day on Stand.No hunting here on Sundays and Monday I can'tget out ,so I'll have to wait till Thursday to get back on stand. God Bless, and wear those safetybelt guys.Till the next post.

Young, don't worry, things will get better for ya up there. On another note I wont be able to go out for the PA opener this sat. and we cant hunt sundays. So I probably wont get out til the 3rd. Not that far away now boys. Good Luck.

Hey yall,
So i went out again tonight, sat in the rain for about an hour and a half. It did not seem that long though. After about 5 minutes of sitting, on the ground cause did not want to get in a wet medal tree stand, a turkey walked within 6 feet of me. He had about and 8 in beard. Well anyways about 10 min after he left a trio of does walked out about 75 yards away and just fed in the field for about 45 min. Well anyways they came to 45 yards, just outside of range. Well it was the third time out and every time i have seen deer. So the season is off to a good start. I hope to get one once the corn comes down and they start feeding out in the feilds abit more.
