David.. I can see you're going to be a handful.

Are you going to come up to our 3-D shoot? (I know, it's on the same weekend as one of yours)

Anyhow, to my awesome team members.. I thought I'd show off a picture of my huge monster hog buck that I shot last fall. It's my biggest buck so far...

Ready?

It's huge...

Prepare yourselves..

Pretty awesome eh? (laff...laff) [8D]

Shot it with my super slow, old compound.

But wait..... it gets worse!

This buck I've been hunting for awhile. I've named him Frank. He was nice enough to walk by and stop broadside a mere ten yards from my ground blind. ....choke.... I shot like a foot over his back. Talk about buck fever. Oh well.. this year he should be even bigger.

I just put my Camtrakker out today to see if he's still around.

Frank is a ridiculous deer. I still can't believe you missed him.

Hi AminitaVerna,
Unfortunately we have two weekends of back to back shoots. The prep for theseis taking every free minute I have. Trying to getclub membersto volunteer to help has been impossible. But on a good note, it's Friday and my boss is out of town, so it's a game of office "Twister" at 11:00 right after we get back from breakfast and then wiffleball in the parking lot at 1:00.

Hi Shed33! Good luck to you guys but with AminitaVerna as Captain here, well our grand destiny ispainted across the skylike the hues of amid-western sunset whispering the arrival of God's Autumn song. (I just love waxing poetic)

Good Luck All!

Okay,

So we're officially Fearsome 15—sounds good to me.

Amanita—well, now that you've spilled the beans—there's no way you can "NOT" put a tag on Frank this season—anything less will be unacceptable, LOL!!

So, Amanita's done her homework and set the bar pretty high.

Thought I'd show a couple of the larger bucks I've located this Summer—these aren't the biggest two I've seen—but I'll take either of them if I get the chance. I pretty well know their "feeding" patterns—so I'm hoping I can catch up to them before we harvest our soybeans.

well ive seen a few bucks but nothing like last year. i think its because it has been soo dry this summer the deer are stickin to the corn and not the alfalfa. still havent seen any sign of the 170 that was running around last year[&o]
