In all of my excitement of being on a team, I failed to say anything! I hunt in N.E. Missouri....4 miles from Iowa and 1 county west of Illinois. My husband in on team 11.......so the SMACK is already on in my house!!!!! We'll see. I am a very patient hunter....looking for big boys. Our season starts Sept. 15. Have a good season....hunt safe....more later

Just checking in. I hunt in guess where SW Iowa.;) We got some real nice bucks located already and just thinking of putting the stands out. Hunt with my brother in law who is on team 25 I think.

Checking in from Maryland. I haven't seen too many BIG boys but I have gotten 100 class bucks the last couple of years. If we all can do that or better, we can win this thang. I already have time off scheduled for the 15th, 16th and told the wife that I will be out on the 17th.:)

I hunt in North Dakota. My name is Tyler. My dad and I have been doing a lot of scouting and have been seeing some nice ones.

All, I read some of the other teams threads and they are making up team names. Do we want to do the same? Really makes no difference to me.

G2....I don't know much on the procedures for this contest, but from what I have read....we should have a team name, logo and a captain. If you have any ideas for names or logos, please share. Did you participate in this last year? Also, looks like we're still missing a few.

This team is one to be feared.... What is more frightening than a Mom who knows how touse a deadly weapon and isn't afraid to do it(ever seen a Grizzly bear with cubs)!!! Then you have young guys who are mowing down good bucks like spring grass (dagger buck 2)!

After all what could be finner than a bunch of huntinfool(14) (bw)hunters(501)getting together with MOM(W/SWD), and after putting away their 2dogs, heading for places like SW Iowa (Hunter) or tex(hunter), where just out of relex(kid) they shoot daggers (buck 2) at monster bucks with huge G2s(Shooter)!!!

I have emailed all MIA's and asked them to sign on the thread. finner is not accepting emails from forum users so we will just have to wait for him/her to log on.

I have not given much thought to a name/tag for the team. I guess I will start today. Anyone else have any ideas? Start posting them so we can all see.

This is my first year for the contest. I did not know about it last year until it was too late.

Hey guys!! im here...checking in from the U.P. of Mi. i havent been out scouting toomuch this summer been pretty busy...but in the next month ill get out quite abitto do some scouting,and get acouple of my stands hung. Ill be hunting northern houghton county, and my season starts on Oct 1.

Antler Eater that was a good one im not going to lie lol. As for participating last year i did and yes we need to pick a team name, logo, and captain. As far as the logo's go im not very good with computers lol so if someone could come up with one after we pick our name that would be great. And i cant think of any names right this second so ill have to get back to yall with some.

I'm in. I hunt in North Dakota, our season opens on September 2. I will be hunting the badlands of ND over labor day chasing mule deer. I usually hunt the northeast part of ND.

I forgot to say that my season opens Sept. 15 also. Looks like 2dog has the jump on us. Hopefully he will get a big'un to get us rollin! ;)

Who is hunting Mule Deer and who is hunting Whitetail? Just curious. I don't think there are any Mulies here in Maryland so I'm stuck with Whitetail. I guess I could get a Sika deer but I didn't see the handicap for them in the rules. Maybe it should be green score X 2-1/2. [&:] For those who have never seen one, just think of a small forkhorn and that would be a monster Sika deer.

Looks like we have a good number of team members from the midwest so I'm feeling optimistic about this.

Tyler posted a pic of his nice buck from last year. How about we all post our bucks? I will put mine up tomorrow as I just realized I don't have a copy of it at home.

I was just starting to calm down about going hunting and now this contest has me all pumped up again. I can't sleep!!

Has anyone thought of a name yet? I started a thread asking what last year's names were and no one has responded. I didn't want to use the same name as a team last year. I thought of some names but I think some of them were used last year.

I know some of them are stupid. I was just jotting down things that came to mind. What have the rest of you come up with?

Nice one 2dog. This is mine from last year. I didn't have a tri-pod and was by myself so I'm not in the picture. I'm going to get a crappy tri-pod this year so I can set my camera for a delay picture. Looks like we got some nice ones last year. Hopefully we can do that same or beter ths year for the contest.

G2....I listed some suggestions for names in post 15 on here, but I like yours much better......I think Buck Rangers would be hilarious and quit fitting. javascript:void(AddText(':D')) No Stinking Bullets is fun too.
The picture of your buck is great...thanks for sharing. I'm always excited to see pictures of nice deer.
We put 3 cams out a couple of weeks ago and we're going to the farm this weekend.. Hopefully we have some good snaps! We've finally had some rain there so we will probably finish up food plots if we can. I't just so darn hard to wait until September but if the ground is still real dry, I guess we'll have to. Any way, I hope to have some cam pics to share......If I can figure out how to get them on this computer....I may have to go find a kid!!

Those aresome good suggestions as far as team names go, Mom and G2. i got a couple more ideas how about...Team Buckstoppers, Team Scrape&Rub or Team Buckwhackers. Once we get a list of team names to pick from we will have to vote on it to see which one to go with.

I will have to look for a picture of last years buck to post. We got 4 others nicer than him spotted in our hunting sections though so this year should be good.

I thought of another one, "Natural Born Hunters". I'm playing around with Photoshop to make the logo like the movie poster.

I was looking through some of the other team's threads and I saw one that was going with Rack Pack.

I'm a city boy and even though I go to Country bars, I don't really consider myself a hillbilly but if the vote is for that, I'm in. Whenever I think of hillbillies, I get a mental image of the Bushwackers from the old WWF. :D

I've been playing around with a dollar bill and put our nicknames on it, a 12 pt buck in the center, etc... I'm trying to get it to look better. I need more practice with paint shop.[&:]

I am 33 been hunting for 10 yrs and this will be my 3rd year archery got my first archery deer last year.I hunt a couple spots arond the red river on farm land no real big deer but my wife got a 9 point last year
