OK, OK, OK....I repent of all my sins for all the BUTT banter! Nothing like putting it on us! LOL [8D]

Congrats Tim....GREAT buck, and a great accomplishment to have patterned him and taken him on the ground. That is a truly awesome buck for sure! Of course, hopefully that will be it for your team...the rest of us have a lot of catching up to do! :D

2 weeks almost to the minute and I will be in my apple orchard stand looking for that nice eight. I think he will make the book if I get him. IF I do, he'll be by far my biggest, and my best. trying to find a spot on the wall for him. I'll wait for him if I see him, but I am not objected to drilling a doe as this place goes cold when the leaves go bye-bye. here is a dilema though. he is but 2.5 years old. BUT, there is a rumor that the land is going to be plowed under and built on next year. altho I am all for qdm and letting the little ones go, I just don't think I can take that chance, any thoughts???

Been out a couple of times in CT so far, but no luck yet... I have seen a couple of does out in the freshly cut corn field, but nothing close enough for a shot.
Gonna sneak out tomorrow night again and see what happens.

I went out thursday morning for awhile & back in the afternoon. Its too hot here yet. I got up my tree all sweaty with every bug in the county swarming round my head & lasted 2 hours or so.[:'(] Went out friday after work & it wasn't as hot & humid but we had a thunderstorm just rolled right over us. Strike 2[:@] Then saturday nothing bad happened except there werent no deer.[&:]
I saw a grand total of 1 deer & that was driving between spots. A little 4 point walking across a yard. I think I know where he was going & have a stand by a couple apple trees but I aint even almost interested in anything but a real buck this early & dont wanna go to that stand yet anyhow.

Cant go again till wed because the wifes working but wed thru sat I'll be sitting in a tree somewhere. ;)

Last weekend was just plain bad for deer movement. We hadcooler weather but the full moon really put a damper on the deer moving during daylight. Tylersaw 4 does and a small buck for the weekend total. That is not so goodfor just one hunt let alone 3 hunts.

Hopefully things pick up for you guys once the deer start moving during daylight hours again. I know Tyler sure has been disappointed with the deer not showing up. Hopefullywe won't beharvesting this weekend so Tyler gets out.

Went out last night and saw nothing. Checked another field at dark and saw 5 or 6 tails go. I will be there Friday.
A local proshop owner took a very nice 10 pointer yesterday morning by CT standards... Probably pushing 125" or so...

Hey team,

Sorry for not posting much, been working my tail off. I think I've been in every state in the Northeast the last few weeks. Good luck to everyone, TJF got us off to a fantastic start, I hope we can help him out with a few more nice bucks of our own. My season doesn't start until Oct 1st. I can't wait.

Hey Western MA Hunter, nice bear. Be proud, that's a great accomplishment. I'd love to get one with a gun, let alone one with a bow.

Hey TJF, how is your son Tyler making out? I'dlove to see him take a nice buck like yours. Keep us informed.

Take care,

Brian
