Considering it was 98 yesterday and they are calling for upper 90's the rest of the week...... I'm not too excited about hunting right now....
Same here, Double Creek. They're forcasting high 80's and low 90's throughout this week, but the Weather Channel web page is forcasting mid 70's in the early part of next week. I think this week I will work around the house and build up brownie points with the wife totrade in later when it is cooler. :-)

Good luck to all of my fellow team members whose season has not started yet. The full moon had things off during the daylight ours in my neck of the woods this weekend. I have plans to hang a new stand this weekend that seems to be a promising spot.

By the way, why is our banner not showing up in our signature any more?

Yep, we just had a little baby girlthis pastTuesday, the 13th, and I went out hunting Saturday morning, leaving her to fend for herself with the baby and our soon to be 5 year old. When I got back at noon, she was fit to be tied!!! But she did give me her blessing to go, though. It appears that our son wanted to hold, touch and look at the baby all morning, so she had to fend him off, the baby messed her pants 3 times, and my wife was unable to shower or eat breakfast all morning. I may have to build her a new house just to make up for that one.

Brad

Congrats to your wife and you on the baby girl.

Your sure your wife wasn't testing you to see if you would stay home instead of going hunting?? You gotta watch it whenyour wifegives youher blessings!! It is a dreaded numb-skull hubby test!! One you will fail every time!! Speaking from experience.

Goodluck with your hunting and congrats againon the baby girl.

Tim

Thanks TJF, and I think that is exactly what my wife was doing, and you're right, I failed miserably judging from her attitude Saturday afternoon. [][&:]

However, she'll have to learn that I am just a numb skulled husband and she will have to say what she wants and doesn't want because I can never guess right (probably because she changes the answer if I even come close tobeing right ).
