Well, I was scouting Thursday and saw 2 nice 8 ptrs. Should have been hunting though:eek:. I'm not able to hunt this weekend and I have to work the next[:@]. Boss just told me today.

I was out this morning and doing my best to look like a piece of a BIG boulder just off a good trail.Along comesa real nice forky, whichstrolled past at 10 yards. He stopped and posed, offering me a perfect quartering away shot from 15 yards. I declined the opportunity, having until Dec. 10 to get my only buck. Was sure nice to see, though.

out this AM for the PA opener , it was hot , had 10 come in by 830 , one shootable buck a 7 pt , i thought he was only a 6 so i decided to hold off , he mighta been around 90-100 class , still way too small to ruin my whole season over ........i did manage to hammer a doe however , good blood into a field , theres some high grasss at the begining and thats where she headed , so i came abck to school , i have hockey im gona let her lay up for a while then go back , great shot tho with the hoyt vipertec , 40 yds broadside , painting the woods in red!

Thanks guys , im headed home at like 7 to get her quartered up , my bro recovered her and took her home , washed her out and put some bags of ice in her to keep her chilly til i can get her cut up......now for the horns!

Congrats to mammasboy and DL, too. I've missed a lot since I last posted.

My season finally arrived here today. I saw 5 this morning, but nothing with antlers, and nothing very big so I let them all walk. But, I'm itching to put some meat in the freezer. One doe had triplets - I haven't seen that for a while. Most of our does seem to have single fawns and occasionally twins. I'll be out again tomorrow morning.

I'm not even hunting yet. I have a few real nice bucks coming in daily to the feeder, but its just too hot still. On the minus side, I smacked an 11 point with the truck yesterday [:@]
