thanks IBM,
162lbs with 5 inchesto the dew claws, 3 year old monarch.
i stalked her to about 25 - 28 yards. took about an hourwith 4 other doe feeding with her.
acorns were falling, cool over cast day withdrizzle now and then, fog in the low lands and swamps, a storm the day and night before, pressure falling...
yeah,it only made sense to hunt afood source with cover.

by 10am i was done for the day,now i need to take out her husband.

well not to becompletely insulting, we just ate half a back strap tonight for dinner.
(your thoughts go here) ....

yea it was good, fantasticallyso as a matter of fact.

i love bow hunting.

in a few states ilived ini hadto wait until October.if that was the case here in Minnesotathe bucks would be broke up by then.one of the best tactic times to hunt them would beobsolete.

is that the case in your states ?

daystalker, 1 week--2 days. Technically, it's 1 week, 1 day and about 22 hours. Getting "geeked" up about it.

Just over a week. I will be out all weekend!! Hopefully it will cool off a tad and a nice big fat doe will walk by!! Or if I am really lucky, Mr. Big (or even Mr. Medium) will walk by!!

"Mr. Medium"...funny stuff IBM! I'll take Mr. Medium in a heartbeat...just depending on what your definition of that is. I'm sure it's good enough for me.
