Well I'm almost all ready. I'll be done by tomorrow afternoon. I've got a couple more stands to finish marking and trimming tomorrow and then after that I'm good to go. I have my bow tuned, clothes washed and everything organized.

I haven't really been seeing too many deer, but then again I really havn't gone out and sat. I know they are there so hopefully they will be coming by on the 1st. The soybeans have been hit hard, and the corn is getting it almost as much. Got a feeling its gonna be a good season.

Just wanted to drop in and letyou know I haven't forgot about team "A cup" yet......... Hope to see you ladies in the official score thread... Although highly unlikely :D;)

Just three short weeks until IBM can once again sit in his stand and hold his bow......not hunt...... just hold his bow :D

I believe the other Bush was still in office the last time IBM dropped the string on a whitie! ;)

How many of you guys are filming hunts this year...or getting some of your hunts filmed? My brother-in-law, whose on another team, and I have been toying around w/ the idea.

If you're already a "seasoned" vet at this, got any advice or suggestions for first timers?

I've filmed 2 hunts so far this year for a buddy. He's come up short both times. I went out tonight and attempted to film myself (above buddy made plans to go to heaven or something and helped move furniture at his church). I got video of a couple young bucks as they feed under the persimmon tree. Antother year or 2 and one of em will be a shooter. As far as advice goes, find a dedicated video partner. I love to video, and sometimes would prefer to video over hunt, but the season was a week old and I needed to be in the stand with a bow in my hand. I'm kindof glad a shooter didn't step out. I really want to capturemy buck kill on tape. My best friend is coming in to hunt next week and we'll hit it hard. I'm gonna film for him until he draws blood then we're swapping. It would suck for him to scratch himself the first morning!! :Dlol

That email is no longer. It is only my paypal account.

I had that email addy for years and the junk email I got was crazy so I deleted it about 2 years ago. That was back before all the new spam filters AOL has now

[email protected]

You can't change your paypal ID. At least I don't think you can? I will check into it.

I PMed you my phone# in a past PM you could give me a call as well to talk it over if you would like. I will PM it again.

Sorry for the confusion [&:]

I went back to Mississippi to go check out the damage. I lost ceilings in a few rooms, but we are going to get them fixed soon. I was on the verge of moving to Illinois, which would ruin my season this year. I am staying in Mississippi though. To sum this post up- I will be hunting this year!!! :)

skin_dog, thanks for the advice. Still up in the air if we do this or not. It's hard to put the bow down and grab a camera. We'll see though.

zak, great news. Glad to hear that the damage was kept to a minimum. Have been certainly thinking about your situation a lot and wish nothing but the best for a fast recovery for you and your family. If you need anything at all, don't hesitate to ask. I'm sure we could all get together and ship you items such as arrows, release, stands, etc.

Ok, if you insist! I would like seventeen dozen Easton A/C/C 3-60 arrows, four Scott Little Bitty Gooses, twenty-five Summit Viper X4's, forty Summit Viper X5's, and twenty thousand Bowtech Allegiances.

Nah, I'm just messing with you about the Summit Viper X4's. :D

Thanks for the offer hunter25, but I am fine.
