Default RE: mossberg 535

I saw them the other day and I surethought that was a nice price on that rig BullRider.
I still shoot an 835 that I've owned for 12-13 years.I use it for turkeys only and it has given me no problems over the years. It took time to get it to pattern as most all of the choke tubes were to tight back then. With all the new loads and chokes out there these day if you can't get a good pattern you just don't know what you are doing!Every gun is different some guns take longer to find that como.
I'm more of a Browning man but couldn't get 31/2 chamber on one back in those days other than a ten ga.
Only Remingtonthat has ever been in the house was one my oldest son bought and payed for.He wanted to up-grade from a Browning Game Gun pump to an 870 trap gun.He put several thousand rounds though the Browning and made the switch.A couple mounths later he found a crack in the reciever.I told him to get with Remington and see what they would have to say about it.They told him it they didn't know how to fix it and they didn't even make that reciever anymore. Then they hung up on a 17 year old kid first time owner!
I asked around at the state trap shoot and found out it was a common happening on that gun and how to machine it to stop the crack. It's a good gun that had one weak spot to it, but Remington put thier head in the sand on it.My son is still puting round after round through it after the rework that Remington Should Have done.[:@]
