Default RE: thumbhole stocks

Never wing shot with one and prolly never would. The grip is totaly wrong for it IMO. That is why you see target shooters and hunting rifles with thumbhole stocks. A thumbhole stock seems to not be a smooth swinging grib when wing shooting. Think about it. If they where good for it then you would prolly see trap shooters with them but you don't. A thumbhole gives you a great grip for steady shotsand the only reason I would ever wanta thumbhole stock on a shot gun would be for turkey hunting but I only hunt turkeys with a bow anymore so... But anyways maybe someone elsehas a different opinion about them on shotguns but thats mine. I plan on getting a thumbhole on my varmit rifle when i get one thats aboutit. WCL
