Okay, I may get the chance to finally go on my first guided hunt. I've never hunted any big game other than whitetials. I don't want to go for elk, muley or antelope because I'm hoping to move out west and will get to hunt these on my own. So here's my question: I want to hunt something other than deer elk or antelope and this may be my ONLY guided hunt as I think at 40 the chance for wealth and fame has passed me by. What would you choose for a first(and maybe only) guided hunt? I am considering Caribou, Black Bear, or an african plains game hunt. I've always wanted a bear rug. Even an average 'bou would look massive to this whitetail hunter. Africa is cheap right now for plains game. I'd prefer to hunt in Alaska or Canada though as the country is beautiful. Okay, what would you do im my situation?
