barska has a 6-18x50.
Barska's are not that bad of an inexpensive scope - don't know that I would trust them in a lot of weather and/or for a life time...
Varmint scopes - usually, but not always, will have an adjustable AO on so you can adjust the pararrlax (sp.. I hate that word) out at the different ranges you are shooting. A lot of 4x12's do not have the adjustable AO but most after that do... If you think you are going to do some long range shooting with a MLget a scope with some sort of ballistic reticule, most common is a mil-dot. The mil-dot os rally handi at the longer ranges... I have a 4x12 Banner on my 222 that has a varmint turrent on it for elevation. I just dial in the range by range distance, do not have to count clicks or anything, above 100 and the scope makes the adjustment so i keep the cross hairs right on the target - but I can not find this type of scope anymore.
