Hows the bushnell banner scope? I'd like some not so expensive. After some thinking, I'd like to get a reasonably priced scope that will be good for rifle season. Were going after deer for muzzleloading and elk during 3ed rifle season. I would also like something with a 3-12 Power.
I just bought a Bushness Elite 3200 Firefly 40mm 3x9 for a Savage 10ML I am getting. You will NOT be unhappy with the Elite 3200, has rainguard and the firefly features lights up the crosshairs on dark clowdy days to florcent green making them visible for 15 minutes in low light conditions all with just a flashlight. I have a 3x9x50 on my Omega. They are about $200. Comes with lifetime guarantee, have not used the guarantee yet.
I know you don't care for Randy W, but his wisdom on scopes here is good:

Best wishes on the planning for your elk hunt. You have to apply by April 3 in Colorado. Chap Gleason Va.
