Default Richard from the Bow Zone. Thanks for coming out.

We actually stalked to within about 5 yards of this hog laying in a brush pile and while we were attempting to get a shot through the brush into his vitals he got up and started coming out of the brush pile at us, well as you can see by the size of him he was breaking alot of branches trying to bust out of the brush pile and he looked like hogzilla coming out at us!! Needless to say we both took of running like a couple of little girls (at least we weren't screaming like them) and since I can run a little faster than Richard when a 300 lb hog is chasing me the hog decided to go after him. In about 10 yards that monster closed the distance to where he was right on Richards heels and I actually got scared and started running towards them as I thought I would have to get the hog off of him somehow, just adrenaline I guess and speaking of adrenaline, this is where Richard threw his expensive matthews adrenalin bow on the ground and lept for the nearest tree and swung around it like tarzan as the hog ran into the tree next to him, bounced off it and kept going luckily. Anyway Richard picked up the bow and I picked myself up off the ground after laughing so hard at him running, throwing his bow and leaping into a tree, now that he was okay. We went back after the hog and Richard made a great shot at the hog moving at about 38 yards, 2 other guys saw the shot besides me and we couldn't believe he made such a good shot. Well he had to put one more in it to finish it off but it would have died anyway. It was another fun hunt with Richard at huntnshoot in chester texas, that big hog was a barr hog and he also shot a sow that was well over 200 lbs. lots of meat but the hunting memories are priceless!!
