I'm looking for a 12 ga. shotgun that I can use for bird, turkey, deer, pheasant, trap, sporting clays...you get the point.

Oh yeah, I'm left handed.

Currently I have a 1100, but it is right handed, made in 1979 I believe. Ok condition, but I'm limited to its use unless I purchase a bunch of different barrels to stay with 3" shells. As of now, I have two barrels; a 2-3/4" FULL and a 3" Magnum SKEET. I would like a shotgun that could take at a minimum 2-3/4" and just change the chokes.

I was thinking of trading it in, only because I'm tired of the shells across my face.

As for price, I'm not really looking to spend my retirement, but something around $1000 could be done.

Any thoughts?
