RE: I can't believe I did it.
I don't know how to isolate the quotes for reply, sorry.
1. I'm good with the warranty, it is a dealer out of WVa. It was a special order never picked up.
2. The moving parts I worry about are indeed the pivot arms. They may not move, but they handle alot of stress and are held on with c clips. C clips fail for all manufacturers. Just convoluted reasoning, no disrespect to bowtech. I also have never been a fan of split limbs. If the change grabs the industry, believe me...I will buy. I can't control myself.
3. I think that High Country bought a bow company called Newberry and tweeked their designs. It seems to have the design of the allegiance, the cable roller like mathews and a twist on the binary cam( they call it trinary) of bowtech.
4. I hope I never need service either. I don't have a retailer within 200 miles.
5. The arrows, I bought some last year and my arrow guy wouldn't set them up....he didn't like the math. The sat most of the year, so I decided to set the up for my daughter, light arrow, light draw weight...makes sense. But of course, I left them 29 inches long! They shoot very well, imo. No apparent loss of penetration on a 3D deer. I won't hunt with them, I would never testHigh Country's theory on a live animal.
