Have you held it? Shouldered it? Tried the trigger? If itfits
you well, then it's a great gun. If it doesn't, then it's not for you.
There are plenty of manufacturers out there who make serviceable rifles. You have to hold enough of them to find the one that comes to you like a newborn baby. Like a momma cow, you'll know which one is
your own. And unless it's a Remington 710, you'll have more than a good enough rifle. You'll find out what it likes to eat, and you'll nurture it, & you'll read it bedtime stories, & you'll be at the range often enough with it to make it a natural part of
you.
For
me, that riflewas a Remington 700 CDL. It may not fit anyone else on the planet, butI haven't yet felt another rifle that nestled itself into
mybody and "loved" me as much as thatrifle. And if & when I find another that feels that way, I'll promptly pull out my credit card, and make it "sibling" of my 1st rifle!
If
your newborn is an A-bolt, don't think twice: adopt it on the spot. Hey, it needs a loving home, too!
Find your rifle, and nurture it: it'll take great care of you!
