I grew up in Wis, and only have seen one white squirrel in the wild and it was an albino. I know there in Wis, it is illegal to shoot them. Check your local game laws before harvesting them.

what is theory behind that law? i've heard of other states not allowing the harvesting of other albino animals also. i dont understand that.
