Default RE: snake boots or no snake boots that is the question

Fellas an alternative that i chose to the snake proof boots is chaps!I hunted Texas a couple of years ago and besides being snake bite proof all the way up over your thigh and quad i could walk right through any of that nasty prickly pear and jumping choya cactus they have down there!Rattlers brand Chaps are the ones I chose, they come in Mossy Oak break-up,are waterproof, and come in different sizes according to the legth of your leg!Dont know about you fellas but easing through the woods in that predawn darkness especially in late season can be an awful experience should one step on a nasty serpent!Besides that I hate walking into a brier patch that I didn't see, with these baby's on I have alot more confidence walking around the woods in those predawn hours! They are a little warm, but to me its worth it!Besides that they come in handy during quail season too, in getting those dang birds to come out of those blackberry vines!HuntSmart.com is where you can take a look at them. When you get there just run a search on chaps!Hope it helps Bob
