Great info, I have been looking into a pair of snake boots as well. Here in PA I usally just wear a pair of high rubber boots. Can snakes bite through rubber? I always wondered.

The fangs penetrated the boots, barely penetrated the jeans and just
touched the skin enough to scrape and bruise. I quickly purchased a pair of the thick rubber snake boots. I think these should do the trick.
