Wow! Thanks for the information. I was about to purchase some snake boots because I will be hunting around rattlers in the spring. A few years ago, I walked into the middle of 3 of them without protection. I didn't move an inch, but I called out "SNAKE!" My husband got his shotgun. By then 3 of them slithered about 18 inches from me and went into a pipe. It took some wrok, but we got them both out and put about 6 rounds into them. They still wanted to bite us. It was the first time a snake scared me.
