Default RE: Winchester M64

ORIGINAL: Portage

I posted this in a couple of other forums.

Ilooked at a Winchester 64 today and liked what I saw. This had a hooded front site, 32 Special, 1/2 magazine, was said to be built in 1949, and in very good condition. They were asking $400.

I know nothing about Winchester levers and any info would be greatly appreciated.
Tye Model 64 is a fancy version of the m 94-same receiver, 1/2 magazine, pistol-grip stock/lever, fuller forend, sling swivel studs. Made in .30 WCF, (30/30), .32 Win Special, and .219 Zipper.

Nice guns! I would buy it t $400.00, if in good condition.
