RE: Americans - Help Your Canadian Counterparts
Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to imply that y'all up there aren't willing to fight for your rights (do you even have rights guaranteed to you? I'm not very familiar with your system of government). I hope like heck you win your fight, along with the British, Australians and all the other so-called free countries out there with opressive socialist governments. I just wanted to emphasize how important it is for the conservative voters to form a cohesive base and run the libbies out of office. Then your gun registration problems will almost certainly go away, along with the rest of your countries worthless socialist programs. The best we here in the U.S. can do for you is not frequent your country to hunt and fish, and to let the Canadian gov't know that THEIR silly laws and tax policies are what motivates our decision not to come.
Last year my dad, brother and I were considering taking two weeks and going up into Canada to fish. We were planning to rent a seaplane to fly us up to the more remote northern lakes and camping out there, but decided against it because of the unrealistic fees and hassles at the border. My dad took a similar trip to Canada fishing 20 or so years ago and brought back a cooler full of fish. Now they only let you take three fish. Not worth the expense of the trip when I can drive to Minnesota.
I've wanted all my life to hunt moose in Canada. But like I said, my guns won't get near the Canadian border because I like them and want to keep them and don't need the Canadian gov't taxing me for them.
Godd luck and best wishes,
Mike
