Default RE: Ruger barrels any good?

The Ruger Angled screw has been around for decades, who's copied it? How many target rifles are built on them compared to Remingtons, Savages, and customs? How many full on custom DGR's are built on them compared to other actions like the Model 70, CZ 550,Milsurp-Mausers, and the 1917?

Yes, the Ruger action design has been "around for decades" However, it is newer than the designs used by the rest of those you list. Since tooling up to produce a rifle action is pretty costly, it would make no sense for those other makers to change their proven designs to the Ruger configuration - it's not as if they started up AFTER Ruger, and could easily implement any configuration they chose. In additon, there aren't a lot of used M77 actions lying around for anyone to use to build custom rifles. When it comes to DGR's, the one Ruger currently makes is as good as a lot of custom stuff, and costs less than a custom rifle.
