For what it's worth I hunted with a group of 3 others in Hamilton County (muzzleloader). It is only my 2nd year hunting in NY but the others have been going there for 30+ years.

In 2 days we got 2 bucks and 2 does. The folks with experience said they saw more deer this year than any other, and I can confirm that driving the road at night was dangerous.
