Default RE: My homebrew wireless E caller

I am using the Radio shack AMP until my Vellman amp kit arrives, I used a shielded cable from the azden reciever to the amp and I removed the wires to the AMPS internal speaker, I get some white noise if I turn the AMP up much past 1/2 way, Like others have posted this AMP does seem to have a sweet spot. For my area 1/2 way up on the AMP is plenty loud enough, Though I am looking forward to trying the Vellman amp kit, It seems to get a better recomendations.. One last thing, I picked up a stereo to mono plug, I plug it into my sound source, then my shielded cable to my transmitter into it, that seems to help with the noise some as well. Without things to tweek and try differently how would one survive the muddy month of March???
