As AKJeff said, it would make a difference whether I was actually HUNTING grizzly or hunting caribou with the thoughts of protecting myself against a bear if necessary..

If I were planning to hunt bears, I'd take the .375...It will work fine on caribou also and the heavier slower moving bullet will probably mess up less eating meat than the faster .300 mags, which are notorious as meat wasters...

If I were hunting caribou and did not plan to hunt bears, I'd flip a coin...Chances are you won't have any problems with grizzlies anyway...I've encountered many of them and they always beat feet as soon as they knew there were humans around... If a problem DID arise, the .300 mag would probably settle it promptly... Also, sometimes shots at caribou can be long, and you might appreciate the .300 mag's flatter trajectory
