In summer02 I had videoed 4 great bucks in a field together near our farm, but once season opened, they all dissappeared. At the very end of the season, I was checking an open gap in a fence with my camera at the rear corner of our property, I was seeing if any deer were using the opening to cross, and was hoping to get another tag filled before season ended. I got some pics of two of the bucks I had videoed, so I hung a stand, and took one of the bucks on Jan 6 of 03, it was kind of odd, I sat the stand thinking I wouldnt get a chance at one of the bucks, and he came through the gap at 3:45 in the afternoon, moving around feeding on acorns. I wouldnt have even hung a stand if I hadent gotten pics of the bucks. One neat thing, I took the buck over a mile from where I had videoed him in the summer, he was the smallest of the 4 in the video too, but Im proud of him. Lots of character.
