The Stevens model 200 is probably one the best rifles available right now in the $300 range for hunters on a tight budget. It is a savage action and barrel. The only difference between the stevens and the savage is the stevens does not have the accutrigger and the stock is a cheaper grey synthetic. They are good shooters.
