Like everyone else said MAKE SURE IT IS CCLLEEAANN AND DRY inside and out. When I'm done with this I use wd-40 and wipe everything down again inside and out. I've been using wd-40 for 20+ years and have never had a problem with any of my guns. I don't shot in winter up here(ny) so my guns can sit for upto 6months at a time.
