Default RE: 22-250 burn up barrels?

if you handload real barn burners for your .22-250 it will wear out a barrel kinda fast. The way to keep a barrel for a long time is to not get it hot. If you are intosod poodle shooting, take a break and let it cool down.My Remington 700 was originally in .22-250.Firedover 3,500 rounds through that barrel before accuracy slowly started going to pot. In quick succession i had a Hart and a Douglas barrel on it-total waste of money.Neither barrelwas any where near as accurate asthe original Remington barrel.Had it re-barreled by Remington.Thenre-chambered itto.22/308=.22 CHEETA.
