Good luck.......lol. I shot a 446 on the vegas face last night, I haven't shot above a 443 in months.........I am back on track and boy does it feel good. I really have been in a slump since September because I took a break for hunting season and stopped seeing the coach for 4 months, and then the new bow setup really took a while to work through. If I can manage to keep focused on shooting good shots and not on score I can see a good mid 50's X count score this week. I am putting in a lot of time right now, I am doing aiming drills and a 10 yard game tonight, working with the coach tomorrow night, shooting the vegas league Wed,aiming and 10 yard drills on Thursday, and then probably my 5 spots HNI score on Fri or Saturday.
On camera, my shots and executionlook as good as it did last August/Septemberwhen I was at my peak and shooting my personal best ever. Hopefully we can both post a best game for our last score, I would love to see it.
Does taking it so seriously (shooting everyday and the coaching)take any fun out of the venues for you? I used to take my shooting pretty seriouslyand I would get a bad case of burn out every year from it. Now I just shoot to shoot and let the arrows fall where they may and I enjoy myself much better these days.
I only shot one local 3D shoot after the IBO Indoor Worlds last year, I just had enough of shooting for a while. Other than some hunting practice I never picked my bow up from last March until our HNI league started a couple months ago.
I'm about 11 days fromthe Indoor Worlds nowso I am going to bepracticing a lot this week. I shot 22 and 27 yard drills for 2 hours tonight fine tuning my pins for Cleveland. Another couple days of 22 and 27 yards I will sight my 5 yard pin in for those close rascals they like to throw in
