Bullrider115 just slow down a little. It sounds like you got a winning combonation there. Keep the red dot scope on the shotgun. You may have young eyes and can shoot open sights good but one day youll need that scope on there again. Theres a lot of advantages of putting a scope on your shotgun. 2 offhand I know of. 1. being safety youll positively identify your target. 2. You can adjust your scope to the best pattern your getting when shooting the shotgun being 1 aiming point with a scope compared too 2 aiming points with open sights. Leave the scope on and be safe and shoot straight
