Asking the obvious, I'm assuming that its an 8 inch circle that you are aiming at and not just an 8 inch circle somewhere in the larger pattern. In other words, you were aiming AT the 8 inch circle, correct?

If so, then I'd say you are dandy good for 40 yards............heck, I wish I could put 80 pellets inside an 8 inch circle at 40 yards!

If you've gone this far, it wouldn't hurt to get a few turkey head targets and check one more time.
