Default RE: Heckler & Koch USP Tactical .45 ACP

A few years back I tried out a USP. Liked it.
They have a good rep, felt good in thehand, and I was able to shoot it well after only a few mags worth of trigger work.

The only complaint I had was purely a personal fit issue. I couldn't get past the mag release. I had to really shift my grip to activate the lever since it pivots downward instead of pushing inward. Mymiddle finger sat in just the wrong spot and I didn't care for how I would have to change my habits to accomodate the different style.

I like my guns to fit me, rather than the other way around. The exception is my Glock 21 that is a bit too big in the grip, but I've learned to work around that just fine.

Agun that wasn't mentioned yet, if you are looking cheaper, is the Taurus 24/7 series. I haven't been a big fan of their Berretta look-a-likes, but some of their newer polymer guns feel and act much better.
Don't know about reliability or accuracy, just felt good.

The 24/7...

and if you like the longer barrel for the added sight radius, the 24/7-OOS...

I also liked the feel of the new S&W M&P in the hand, but just can't stand that cheesy looking 2 piece trigger. I'm always afraid I'll break it.
